Stellar track listing, but horribly censored
Reviewed by: Kirk Herlitz  on 3/2/2007
It seems really deceitful to sell this product without letting the potential buyer know that some of these tracks are absolutely ruined by the reversing of any profanity to make them 'clean'. I was so excited by this track listing when I received it as a gift, only to be thoroughly let down by the censorship on the tracks with profanity. If I had paid for this myself, I would have returned it due to this censorship. With songs that have profanity in the chorus, the end result is utterly laughable. Come on, Tommy Boy - when are you going to release an uncensored version of this collection?!

I really feel sorry for the people who "just don't get it" (referring to previous reviewer ) Or can't appreciate or understand the significance of this music. Glad I found it! Kd

 What the k*uF?

Okay, the music selection is incredicle. But NO EXPLICT LYRICS? Seriously? Why bother including tracks like 'F the Police' and 'F Compton' if? They're great songs but the efforts that were taken to 'whorrble' the cuss words makes them almost unbearable to listen to. That being said, If you're 30ish and grew up listening to Hip-Hop this set is for you. you's probably get a better price offline thoughh. I did.

How can you cry or complain when they let you preview every CD before you buy it. Stop crying about the cussing missing. I bought the whole NWA album you can to. You can get it used cheap. Stop crying when they let you preview it online. Most of the set didn't have cusswords to start with anyway. IF SOMEONE GOT IT AS A GIFT OR BOUGHT IT AND DIDN'T LISTEN THATS ON THEM. Thanks... Really
